The Dust Mite is most likely to be found on mattresses, but will also be found on carpet, clothing, and furniture. Dust Mites are impossible to see with the naked eye and need a microscope to be identified. Dust Mites feed on dead skin cells called dander and they absorb moisture from the air. By doing this, their population is higher in the more humid months. Females lay 80 eggs at one time. The Dust Mite is a harmless pest but can cause allergies to heighten for some.
